Dr. Jennifer S. Harthan, O.D., F.A.A.O., FSLS is a 2006 graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO). Dr. Harthan grew up in Minnesota and attended Bethel College in St. Paul, where she received a bachelor's of science degree in biology in 2002. Dr. Harthan completed a Cornea and Contact Lens Residency at ICO in July, 2007 and received multiple awards for her clinical work. She has had experience working in hospital and private practice settings.Dr. Harthan is actively involved in ocular surface disease and contact lens research and lectures on these topics at national meetings.

As a student, Dr. Harthan had the opportunity to complete an externship at Glenview Vision Care and is excited to be a part of Dr. Beckerman's practice part-time.

​Dr. Harthan is also a clinical educator at ICO and lives in Glenview with her husband, Jon.
