What type of equipment is used during the exam?
- Anterior Segment Camera: Evaluates front of eye health. Including: overhealth of the front portion of the eye, corneal abrasions, and foreign bodies
- Canon Non-Mydriatic Camera: Evaluates back of eye health. Including: over health of the back of the eye, retinal vasculature, cup to disc ratio, macular/foveal function, glaucoma, and macular degeneration indications
- Corneal Topographer: Test that charts the landscape of the cornea, allowing for eye surface conditions to be diagnosed and tracked. Including: astigmatism, keratoconus, and scarring from injuries. It also aids in the fitting of contact lenses
- Oculus Visual Field: Evaluates peripheral vision. It is screening tool for glaucoma/glaucoma suspects, and detection of possible lesions in the brain
- iCare Tonometer: Evaluates the pressure inside the eye. It is a screening tool used for glaucoma indication and tracking
